Cargo transportation to Kharyaga field

In frames of this project Phortis ltd. performed full rage of freight-forwarding services for delivery and import Customs clearance of equipment shipped to "ZARUBEZHNEFT-PRODUCTION KHARYAGA" LLC.
This company operates Kharyaga field project and now is developing 2 of 3 objects of  Kharyaga field basing on conditions of Production Sharing Agreements together with Nenets Autonomous district. It was signed in December 1995 for duration of 29 years with the possibility of prolongation up to 33 years and in accordance with the protocol to the PSA dated February 12, 1999, it entered into force on January 1, 1999. The license for the field  development belonged to "Total Exploration Russia" company.

Equipment was shipped from the following places: Kandla, India, Cardiff, Australia and Houston, USA and delivered to the port of Saint-Petersburg loaded onto maffi-trailersand containers. Further cargo was delivered to Phortis's warehouse in Saint-Petersburg and loaded on rail, after which it was delivered to Usinsk railway station.

The special feature of this project was import Customs clearance on Baltic Customs in Saint Petersburg, which was performed in extremely short time thanks to high level of  professionalism, perfect knowledge of Customs rules and regulations and wide experience of specialists working in Phortis along with operative coordination with Baltic Customs inspectors.

Import Customs clearance was perfomed with the condition of Client's exemption from payment of Import Customs Duties and VAT in respect of goods transported in accordance with the Production Sharing Agreements of Kharyaga field.
